This seminar is a practical discussion of Software Metric issues with specific applications using Function Point Analysis (FPA). The emphasis is on measurement and quantification of such topics as quality, maintenance staffing, and estimating.

The goal of this seminar is to allow the attendee to understand Software Metrics and utilize Function Point Analysis as a software metric. Various issues involving cost, measurement, and accuracy will also be considered.

Prerequisites of Attendees:

Attendees should be familiar with the software development process. The orientation is for Senior Technical Professionals and lower levels of management.

Intermediate to Advanced level, technical and managerial.
