This page exists to warn you about certain conditions in the building known as Studio Park so you can make an informed decision before entering the building (to take the tour they offer, for instance).

On June 9, 1998, one employee was removed from that building by security and taken for medical attention because they reacted to the air or substances in the air after having worked in that building for three days. The doctor diagnosed the problem as Sick Building Syndrome and an allergist confirmed it. The company took air samples but has not sent the results of that test to employees.

Other people have told me about headaches, sinus headaches, increased ashma symptoms, and other problems. I have also heard (from contacts at professional societies) that there are managers telling their staff not to report problems in that building to the company's health and safety officer. Of course these folks are not reporting because it is very easy for there to be repercussions from a manager when the person involved is on salary and in a employment-at-will state.

If you are considering taking the tour and have any health problems, you may want to investigate the building further before you enter - of course, you take the tours after absolving the company of any liability. Your health is more important than visiting a studio and seeing where the stuff you buy is shown.
