Zeroing your Garand for Various Distances

M1 Garand sight adjustment:

Rear sight moves in the SAME direction as the impact. If you want the impact to go up, move the rear sight up. If you want the impact to go left, move the rear sight left.

Elevation: Clockwise moves the aperture up

Windage: Clockwise moves the aperture right


25yd zero information for M2 Ball (152gr. bullet) and a Garand

At 25 yards, you want to be:
.14 low for a 100 yard zero
.45 high for a 200 yard zero.

200 yard zero = 2.34" high at 100 yards
200 yard zero = 8.3" drop at 300 yards

If you zero for 100 yards, then:
3 clicks up for 200 yard zero
6 clicks up for 300 yard zero
